This validated tool gives accurate results in terms of strain, spring-back, shape defects and load on the rolling machine.
Tool and industrial applications
The Construction team can support companies working in roll-forming to estimate efforts in the rolling machine, permanent strains in the steel sheet and defects in the shape of the profile by the way of numerical simulations. Our service includes also the possibility to assess the steel grade influence on the cold roll-forming lines in terms of loads on the machine and spring-back of the metal sheet.
NAFEMS Iberia Conference
The CRM Group’s developments were presented at the NAFEMS Iberia Conference on November 2024 and soon at the next NAFEMS World Conference in May 2025.
