Hydraulic Testing -> Valves cryogenic testing

This kind of test aims to determine the valve ability to maintain its pressure when immersed in a liquid nitrogen bath. (-196 °C) or placed in a climatic room (-155°C).

The measured parameters are the tightness of the valve body and seats as well as its controllability after the exposure time.

cryogenic testing

Bench test capacity :

  • Maximal testing pressure : 1200 bar (liquid and gas).
  • Maximal valve dimension : 8".
  • Helium leak detector : smallest detectable leak rate in sniffing mode is < 5x10-8 mbar l/s

Standards : BS 6364 – SHELL - QATARGAS
