Thermic testings consist in exciting a material or a structure by bringing an energy source (mechanical, induction heating, warm air ...).
The heat spreading in the material and its impact on the surface temperature distribution give useful information about the material thermic properties or/and potential defects.
The main advantages of most of those methods are the possibility to carry out a contactless control.
