For security purpose, the layout of our hydraulic laboratory has been modified to create a hall dedicated to tests under extreme conditions. This includes pressure, cryogenic, low fugitive emissions and fire tests.
The new hall is already used for some months to perform pressure and fire tests.
Moving the fire test bench was also good opportunity for us to improve it. Through the years, we have brought several improvements to this bench to insure the reliability of the results but also the security of the people operating or attending to a fire test. The new location of the bench has allowed us to get more space around the furnace but also to install a new extractor system, reducing smokes in the laboratory.
The test bench for cryogenic and low fugitive emission tests is expected to take place in the hall the following weeks.
